Cancellation Policy

By claiming a volunteer shift, I agree to arrive on time and complete the responsibilities associated with the selected position. If I am unable to attend, I will notify the Summer Harvest Festival as soon as possible so alternate coverage can be arranged. Cancellations or schedule changes may be reported to Keri at Romney Town Hall by calling (304) 822-5118 during regular business hours. I understand that volunteer activities may include walking, standing, bending, lifting, carrying items, working outdoors, and exposure to changing weather conditions. I confirm that I am physically able to perform the duties described for my selected position and agree to notify festival staff of any limitations or accommodations needed before my shift. I voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with participating as a volunteer. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree that the Summer Harvest Festival, the Town of Romney, its organizers, sponsors, volunteers, employees, and participating organizations will not be held responsible for personal injury, illness, loss, theft, or damage to personal property arising from my volunteer participation, except where liability cannot legally be waived. By submitting this registration, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to these volunteer terms.
