The Summer Harvest Pie Baking Contest Returns!

Calling all bakers! The Summer Harvest Pie Baking Contest is returning on Saturday, August 1st, and we are ready to see—and taste—your best homemade creations.

This year’s contest features a dessert pie theme, but entries are not limited to peach pie. Bring your favorite fruit pie, cream pie, chocolate pie, family recipe, or another sweet creation for the judges to enjoy.

Contest Details

Pie entries should be dropped off at the American Legion, located at 154 E Main Street in Romney, West Virginia, between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 1.

Judging will begin at 1:00 PM. Contest winners will be announced from the Summer Harvest Festival main stage before the parade.

Contest Rules

• Homemade pies only

• Each entry must include a recipe card

• Entries must follow the dessert pie theme

• Pies are not limited to peach flavors
