Lumberjack Show and Chainsaw Contest Coming to the 2026 Summer Harvest Festival

One of the most anticipated events of the Summer Harvest Festival is back for 2026!

The Lumberjack Show and Chainsaw Contest will be held on Sunday, August 2 from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM on the field of the WV School for the Deaf and Blind, located across from Eastern Building Supply in Romney.

This event continues to be a crowd favorite each year as the festival grows, bringing together skilled participants, powerful saws, and plenty of excitement for spectators. Guests are invited to come out, watch the action, and see the talent and precision that goes into this unique competition.

The event will also include giveaways and door prizes, making it a fun stop for the whole family during festival weekend.
